this is where barry bonds hit a lot of his home runs. the one we're talking about stayed in the stadium. here is video from august 7, 2007 that is when barry bonds hit his 756 home run it lead in the center field bleachers. that home run put him past hank aaron of the all-time home run list. it was a huge deal. so much so, the giants decided to put a plaque in memory of that home run. it had been up there since 2008. it was on a brick wall behind the center field bleachers. everything was fine until this weekend when they noticed, the fans noticed the plaque was gone. we have a picture of a missing area of the plaque where it used to be. it is just to the left of that comcast sign. you can see the markings were the plaque used to be. initially a lot of the fans thought there was some sort of falling out between the giant and barry bonds. and they get sick and the plaque down. the giants came back yesterday and said no. this was stolen. it was taken down at some point over last week. they say they are going over surveillance video and pic
